MFT May Release Countdown--Day 5

Are you ready for My Favorite Things May Release Countdown? And, check out
the snazzy new Countdown graphics by Laina Lamb. So.cool!

This month's release is filled with summertime goodness! Day 5 starts off with
Beach Scene Builder Die-namics, and being born and bred in Hawaii, I couldn't
wait to put together this tropical scene.

I used every die in the set and cut the pieces out of colored or watercolor
card stock then ink distressed them with Distress Oxide inks. I adhered
all the pieces to build my tropical scene, and stamped the waves in the ocean.

I chose a simple sentiment made with a lower case alpha set and finished off the
card with a frame. And see that long, low cloud? It was designed as an island but
since this is "my" scene, I turned it into a cloud.

Visit today's countdown post at My Favorite Things for more inspiration and peeks
at the May release. And be sure to leave a comment there for a chance to win a
$75 prize. Thanks for stopping by today!
