CAS(E) this Sketch 124

Are you ready for CAS(E) this Sketch 124? Here it is, brought to you by Chrissy.

To say that I was stumped is an understatement.
I think I hid under a rock for a bit, then came up with this.

Winnie & Walter saved the day with the large "hi" die that arrived last week.
I inked it with three colors of Distress inks, flicked on some water, then added
the rest of the PTI sentiment. Done!

Visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see how the rest of the creative design team
interpreted the sketch and join us because we'd love to see your take on it!
You have until Thursday, May 28th to upload your card(s) and as a winner,
you'll be invited to guest design with us!

Thanks for stopping by!

CAS(E) this Sketch 77

Here's CAS(E) this Sketch 77 brought to you by Gayatri, and it's a fun one!

Here's my uber literal take on it.

I still have water coloring on the brain and inked up the dots in various colors
of distress inks and spritzed them with water before stamping.
Enamel dots were added for dimension and finished off with a sentiment
from Winnie and Walter.

Visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see how my teammates interpreted the sketch
and play along with us if you can. You could be our next guest designer!
Be sure to link up your card(s) by Thursday, May 29th.

Thanks for stopping by!

The Card Concept 8--Umbrella

I'm joining my first Card Concept Challenge because the theme is to use an UMBRELLA.
I just couldn't resist.

The colored umbrellas were die cut from a scrap piece, and I also die cut
three white umbrellas and mounted them randomly to mimic the challenge photo.
The sentiment is from Winnie and Walter.

The white umbrellas were an afterthought. At first I had just the colored ones
and that's when my card was Clean and Simple. Now it's Clean and Layered. I think.
Still lots of white space and layers of umbrellas.

Thanks, always, for stopping by!

Winnie & Walter Guest Star Day 2

Are you ready for more Winnie and Walter? Today I'm sharing my last projects
from this month's awesome release. You can probably tell that I had some Distress inks
and a spritzer bottle of water nearby for all three "watercolor" cards.

On the first card, I inked up the purse from Parentville with different colors of Distress inks
and spritzed them with water before stamping them on watercolor paper.
After the piece was dry, I stamped the mixed sentiment from The Big, The Bold
and the Happy and finished off the card with a few enamel dots.

I did the same thing on the second card, but lined up the purses
and stamped a sentiment from The Big, The Bold, and You. I added a black strip
of cardstock and finished off the card with some black enamel dots.

On my last card, I inked up flowers and leaves from The Write Stuff: Leave it to Mom
and spritzed them with water before stamping them diagonally on white card stock.
The gold embossed sentiment came from two different sets. The word "thanks" was altered
by removing the "s" as shown here by Shay to form the word "thank".
Love doctoring stamps whenever I can!

I'd like to dedicate the last card to Julie and Shay. Thank you so much for having me as a
Winnie and Walter Guest Star. I LOVED getting inky with your stamps!

Winnie and Walter Guest Star Day 1

I'm super excited to be a Guest Star this month at Winnie & Walter and
I can finally share my projects using their newest release.

My first card is a shaped one, using The Big, The Bold and You.
I was so happy that Winnie and Walter came out with a second set of sentiments
in that gorgeous font! The flowers and leaves are from The Write Stuff: Leave it to Mom.

For my second card, I inked up the cute handbag image from Parentville,
spritzed each color with a bit of water before stamping and let it dry.
I went around each image with a black pen and added words randomly in each row.
Honestly, I felt like an artiste after finishing this abstract card!

For the last card, I stamped the little bowtie from Parentville in assorted colors,
stamping off sometimes for a variation in color, then stamped the combined sentiment

I usually like to leave some white space, but I was having way too much fun
stamping all those bowties. Some of them were popped up for a bit of dimension.

Thanks for staying with me till the end. I'll have more cards to share on Friday
so I hope you'll stop by then.
