CAS(E) this Sketch #337

CAS(E) this Sketch #337 is a little something from me, and it look like this.

Here's my take on the sketch.

I substituted a teapot and teacup for the circles in the sketch. I found an inked
scrap that was trimmed and adhered to a Natural card base. I added the
elements and finished off with the stamped sentiment.

CAS(E) this Sketch #336

Teammie Brian brings us this week's CAS(E) this Sketch #336.

I turned the sketch 90° counterclockwise and came up with this.

Once again, a scrap of an alcohol inked piece saved the day. I cut the bottom
with a wavy Die-namics and adhered it to a card. I popped up the dolphin and very
carefully white embossed the sentiment. Yupo paper will warp badly if heated too
high with a heat gun so I took about 20 swipes back and forth, making sure it
wouldn't curl. And it didn't!  Rounded corners and sequins finished off the card.

Former teammie Nathalie brings us this week's CAS(E) this Sketch #335.

And here's my take on it.

Five ric rac strips were cut from white card stock, ink distressed, then adhered
to a card base. The one word sentiment finished off the card.

CAS(E) this Sketch #334

Our team leader Chrissy brings us this week's CAS(E) this Sketch #334.

My CTS teammie Michele enabled me to get the Mega U die after seeing all
of her amazing cards using it. I'm so glad that I finally got a chance to use it on
my loose interpretation of today's sketch.

Altenew's Painted Fantasy washi tape was adhered to white card stock then die cut
with the Mega U Alphabet Die. I embossed a rectangle on a Grout Gray card base
then adhered the U in the middle. The second part of the sentiment was white
embossed and inked with green Distress ink, then trimmed and adhered to the U.

CAS(E) this Sketch #333

CAS(E) this Sketch #333 is a retro one from former teammie Leigh.

Here's my take on it back in 2015, and whaddya know, I used "the cow."

And here's my updated 2019 version.

Two fishtail banners were cut from patterned paper and two Bitty Bears were stamped,
colored and cut with the matching Die-namics. They were adhered to a Primitive
Cream card base per the sketch and finished off with the white embossed sentiment.

CAS(E) this Sketch #332

This week's CAS(E) this Sketch #332 is a little number from me.

Here's my take on it turning the sketch counter clockwise 90°.

I'm thankful to be a pack rat and keep every scrap of alcohol ink piece for times
like this. I trimmed a strip and adhered it to a card base, topped it with a dolphin
(also from my scrap box) and finishing it off with the sentiment and sequins.

CAS(E) this Sketch #331

Teammie Brian brings us this week's CAS(E) this Sketch #331.

And here's my take on it.

Can you tell that i'm obsessed with Altenew's Painted Fantasy washi tape?
I added a strip of it on the bottom and two ink distressed strips on the side,
then finished off with the sentiment and shadow and sparkling pink sequins.

Here's this week's CAS(E) this Sketch #330.

And here's my take on it.

The mandala was cut from a scrap piece of alcohol inking, then adhered to

CAS(E) this Sketch #329

Chrissy brings us this week's CAS(E) this Sketch #329.

And here's how I was inspired.

Paper Smooches' cute little Vespa just arrived and found a place on my card.
I layered it over striped patterned paper and finished off with the sentiment.

CAS(E) this Sketch #328

It's time for a visit to the vault with a retro sketch for CAS(E) this Sketch #328.

Here's my take on the sketch way back in 2013.

And here's the simplified 2019 take.

A cute little cloud huggin' sun, a strip of patterned paper, and a stamped
sentiment plus a sprinkling of sequins. Done!

CAS(E) this Sketch #327

It's time for a new CAS(E) this Sketch. Here's Sketch #327--from me!

Can I  just be honest and say I was stumped by my own sketch? But I persevered
and came up with this simplified take after turning the sketch 90° clockwise.

I tore the edge of light blue card stock for the waves and adhered the "ocean" to a light
blue card base. I added the little girl and sun, then finished off with the sentiment.

We'd love to see your take on the sketch! Link up your card(s) by Thursday,

CAS(E) this Sketch #326

Here's this week's CAS(E) this Sketch #326, courtesy of teammie Brian.

And here's my take on it.

Simon Says Stamp's Clustered Leaves Wafer Die was cut from watercolor
card stock and ink distressed with green inks. It's a large diecut piece so I
trimmed it to fit a card base then topped it with the scalloped piece.
The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

CAS(E) this Sketch #325

Here's CAS(E) this Sketch #325, compliments of Nathalie.

And here's my take on it--party bears!

Six Bitty Bears were stamped, colored with Copics, then cut with the matching
Die-namics. I assembled them per the sketch on a card base and stamped the
sentiment in between them.

And here's my simplified take on it.

City Block Die-namics was cut from an alcohol inked piece and trimmed to fit
the sketch. The building was adhered to a card base and a strip of patterned paper
grounded it. The stamped sentiment finished off the card.
