MFT October Release Countdown--Day 4

It's Day 4 of My Favorite Things October Release Countdown and this
month, Birdie Brown brings us Beast Friends, featuring adorable Yetis and
sweet, punny sentiments!

I couldn't resist the cuteness and made two cards to share with you.
Are you yeti? Here's the first card.

I chose the "tangled" Yeti, a Santa hat, and some presents. I colored them with
Copics, and cut them with the matching dies. I die cut the new Stitched Circle
Scallop Edge Frame and grounded the Yeti with the Snow Drifts border.

A Stone Gray card base was white embossed with the Snowfall Background,
and I adhered the circle, Yeti and presents. I finished off the card with the
punny sentiment, and added white highlights on the hat and gifts.

For my second card, I changed the Yeti's skin colors and went with
"traditional" blue. I created a scene with the new Snow Capped Mountain
Die-namics and the Stitched Snow Drift border.

The scene was framed with the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frame,
and I stamped the sentiment and added a die cut heart.

to win $75 in prizes!

MFT October Release Countdown--Day 5

It's time for My Favorite Things October Release Countdown!
This month there's a ton of cuteness + Christmas, and Day 5 begins
with Merry Everything.

The set features a Santa and several reindeer drawn in a "folksy" manner.
I colored the Santa and one of the reindeer with Copics and cut them
with the matching dies. They were mounted to a red scalloped circle
with dimensional foam adhesive and I white embossed the sentiment.

A top folding natural card base was stamped with the Chevron Grid
Background in Versamark ink for a tone on tone look. I finished off the
card by adhering the circle to the card base. My first Christmas card, done!

Visit today's countdown post at My Favorite Things for more inspiration
from the Creative Team and stop by tomorrow for Day 4 of the countdown.
Thanks for stopping by today!

CAS(E) this Sketch 192

Are you ready to play along with this week's CAS(E) this Sketch?
Here's Sketch #192, compliments of our teammie Sam.

And here's my take on it.

Did I ever mention this Pure Innocence image is my all time favorite?
I must tell Heather Ellis. Beat out all the others, including My Umbrella,
a former favorite because of the umbrella.

The little bathing beauty and strip of water was in my stash of "extras"
so I adhered both to the card and finished off with the sentiment and
a few Nuvo Crystal Drops. Gotta love a stash of extras!

Be sure to visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see how the rest of the team
interpreted the sketch and join us if you can. Link up your card(s) by
Thursday, October 6th. Hope to see you in the gallery!
