Tag You're It Challenge #5

It's time for a new challenge at Tag You're It! and I hope you'll join us
and be inspired by some tags that I designed a while ago.

Here's my tag. I was inspired by the colors of the flowers on kraft.

I painted a small banner with distress inks and cut it in half to fit across the tag.
The tag was stamped with Hero Arts Graph Background in white and I sponged
white ink around the edges. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday.

Visit Tag You're It! to see the wonderful ways my teammates were inspired and
join us if you can. You have until Wednesday, September 10th to link up your tag(s).

Hope to see you in the gallery!

CAS(E) this Sketch 90

Here's CAS(E) this Sketch 90 brought to you by Chrissy.

Here's my take on it. I completely flipped the sketch.

To add some texture, I stamped both pieces with Hero Arts Pinstripe Background
and attached die cut branches. The sentiment is also from Hero Arts.

Please stop by CAS(E) this Sketch to see how my teammates interpreted the sketch
and say goodbye to Gayatri who is leaving the team at the end of the month. (Sniff!)
Be sure to link up your card(s) by Thursday, September 4th.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Pretty Pink Posh Cutting Edge Blog Hop

I'm joining the Pretty Pink Posh Cutting Edge Blog Hop just under the wire.
Here's my card.

I'm totally in love with Penny Black's By the Numbers die.
I dabbed some distress inks on it and popped it up on a woodgrain embossed card.

Gold spattered ink, a gold die cut sentiment and gold sequins finished the card.
Gosh, that's a lot of gold!

AEI♥U Challenge #14--SEQUINS

Challenge #14 at AEI♥U Challenge is SEQUINS.
Use as many or as little as you like, along with at least one Avery Elle stamp
and join the challenge! Here's my card.

I was going for a bokeh look and used different dot images to replicate the effect.
The sentiment was gold embossed and I added a smattering of sequins.
Have you used that word before? Smattering? Sounds sassy!

Visit AEI♥U Challenge for all the details and if you don't own any
Avery Elle stamps, feel free to grab a digital one here.
Be sure to link up your card(s) by Sunday, August 31st.

Thanks for stopping by!
