Tag You're It #79 and (Belated) Happy National Cocoa Day

I'm squeezing in a tag Tag You're It Challenge #79 and the Winter 2017

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop for National Cocoa Day.

Here's the inspiration tag from guest designer Leigh.

Sadly, this is the last challenge for Tag You're It, after 3-1/2 years of 

wonderful tag inspiration. I just had to join the last challenge and here's my tag.

A mug was inked with Cracked Pistachio Distress ink and adhered to a tag.
I adhered a snowflake on the mug, and the "cocoa" and whipped cream.
The sentiment was stamped on the tag with brown ink and I added some
"snow" with Distress Stickles.

I'm also linking this to the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop (belatedly) for
National Cocoa Day which was yesterday, December 13th.

Yep, "Hawaiian time"--that's me!

Tag You're It! Challenge #72

When I saw that Lindsey Larsen was the featured artist over at Tag You're 
It! Challenge #72, I just had to play along. That, and seeing her gorgeous tag!

Here's my take on it.

I adhered three small doily die cuts with spray adhesive onto a
stitched tag, then topped it with a gold die cut sentiment. The tag was
finished off with some gold twine.

I'm hoping I'll have some time to make another tag for this challenge.

Tag You're It Challenge #54 Reminder

I'm popping in with a reminder that you have a few more days to join
Tag You're It Challenge #54 with inspiration from Michelle Short.

I made a second tag, and here's how Michelle's tag inspired me.

After ink distressing the tag, I colored the poppy and added some details
with a white pigment pen. I stamped the sentiment, then finished off the tag
with some black and white twine.

Tag You're It Challenge #52

When I saw that the guestie for Tag You're It Challenge #52 was blogging pal

Amy Tsuruta, I just had to make time and play along. Here's her inspiration tag.

Isn't that thee cutest little mug? And knowing Amy, there's probably java 

in there. Here's how I was inspired.

A Mason jar of blooms and glittery gold sentiment. The tag came together

quickly thanks to a stash of die cuts I had on hand. Sometimes it just pays 

to be a hoarder.

Tag You're It Challenge #41

I'm playing along with Tag You're It Challenge #41 with inspiration

from Kara and her adorable tag.

Here's my take on her tag. I was inspired by the two critters 

and happened to have this mama polar bear and her cub in my scrap pile.

After die cutting the tag from watercolor card stock, I ink distressed with

several colors of Distress inks and spattered some water over the tag.

I adhered the two bears and stamped the sentiment. I happened to have

a 12" length of coordinating ribbon that was a perfect match with the tag.

Tag You're It Challenge 15

This week's inspiration photo for Tag You're It #15 is a card that I designed but never shared.
It features the "no line" watercoloring technique that Tasnim shared a while back.

And here's my tag.

I was inspired by the colors of the origami fish, and inked up the jewels and sentiment
from WPlus9. All the jewels were colored with Copics and I added a sprinkling of sequins
and finished off the tag with a bit of washi tape.

Tag You're It! Challenge 13

Hello! Are you ready for more tag inspiration? It's a new year and a new term

at Tag You're It Challenge, and to kick things off, we have an awesome
guest designer joining us.....Heather Campbell! Here's her gorgeous tag.

And here's mine. I was inspired by the colors on her tag and the floral theme.

I inked up Mama Elephant's Sweet Havana and trimmed and mounted it
on a woodgrain tag. The banner sentiment is also from the set.
I finished off the tag with Pretty Pink Posh sequins and some natural hemp twine.
