CAS(E) this Sketch #378

This week's CAS(E) this Sketch is a little somethin' from me
and it looks like this.

Here's what I came up with using mostly scraps from my stash.

That alcohol inked goldfish literally fell out of my bowl of diecuts so I took that as
a sign. The sentiment was white embossed on a scrap of ink distressed paper
and everything was adhered to a pre stamped background. Am I a lazy
crafter or what? Yes, you may answer that!

CAS(E) this Sketch #377

Teammie Nathalie brings us this week's CAS(E) this Sketch #377.

And here's my take on it.

I stamped Altenew's Wispy Begonia in black ink, together with the sentiment
from the set, then cut it out per the sketch with an old Spellbinders label die.
A white card base was covered with patterned paper, then topped with
the stamped label.

Fusion Card Challenge -- BUTTERFLY

I'm playing along with the new Fusion Card Challenge. Because butterflies.
http://fusioncardchallenge.blogspot.com/2020/06/fusion-butterfly.html

You can choose to play along with just the sketch or the inspiration photo or combine
the two. I combined the theme and the sketch.

I inked up three butterflies in rainbow colors. A (recycled) strip of textured kraft
paper was stamped with the sentiment then adhered to the card base. The
butterflies were adhered per the sketch.

Hope your week is going well. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Edited to add: Honored that my card was chosen as Honorable Mention.
Thank you, Fusion Card Challenge!

CAS(E) this Sketch #376

Teammie Brian brings us this week's CAS(E) this Sketch #376.

And here's my take on it.

The circular element was turned into an aquarium for a couple of gillfriends.
I added the sentiment and adhered everything to a kraft card base stamped
with the Circle Doodle Background stamp in Versamark ink.

In hindsight, I should have done without the circular design in the background
for a more CAS look. But the fish look happy, don't they?

Paper Smooches Challenge--FLOWERS

https://papersmooches.blogspot.com/

Paper Smooches' Challenge for the first half of June is all about FLOWERS.

https://papersmooches.blogspot.com/2020/06/june-1-14-flowers-challenge.html

The image from Rosy Posy was stamped, colored, and die cut. The diagonal stripes
were stenciled on a card base, topped with the floral image and I stamped the
(retired) sentiment. Sequins finished off the card.

If you're a fan and follower of Paper Smooches, you've heard that Kim Hughes Mraz
has decided to retire from her company. While I'm sad that she won't be creating new
images, I'm happy and excited for her and wish her well in her new endeavors.
Thank you, Kim, for sharing your creativity with us!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

CAS(E) this Sketch #375

Are you ready for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch? Meet Sketch #375,
compliments of Chrissy.

And here's my simplified take on it.

I diecut Memory Box's Single Rose Stem and colored it with inks and Copic
markers. I found a hoarded green inked panel and adhered the rose to it.
The panel was adhered to a woodgrain panel and finished off with the sentiment.
My goodness, I believe everything but the rose was in my pile of scraps!
It pays to be a hoarder, doesn't it?
