CASual Fridays Challenge 134--and a Girl Friday Giveaway!

CASual Fridays Challenge 134 marks the last challenge for 2014.
Michele is generously allowing all her Girl Fridays to have a giveaway of a  
$20 gift certificate to shop at the CASual Fridays store!

More about that after I share the deets of the challenge which is TIC TAC TOE.
Create a clean and simple project using any three items
in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal row.

For my card, I chose the top row: chevrons, black, sequins.

I inked up Paper Smooches chevron stamp in three colors of distress inks,
spritzed it with water and stamped it three times on watercolor paper.
The sentiment is from CASual Fridays Stamps, and the sequins are Avery Elle.

CASual Fridays 133--Summer Lovin'

CASual Fridays 133 is SUMMER LOVIN'--create a clean and simple project
using hearts in summery colors. Here's my take on the theme.

I had this piece of ink smooshed distress inks in my scrap pile. Hot summery colors!

It was the perfect size to die cut five of CASual Fridays' Heart Notes
and adhere them to a card base. The sentiment is also from CASual Fridays.
You can't see it in the photo, but I added some shine on all the hearts
with a Wink of Stella pen.

CASual Fridays 132--What a Catch

CASual Fridays 132 is WHAT A CATCH--create a clean and simple masculine project.
Oh, and here's the catch: use RIBBON and absolutely NO KRAFT.

Here's my card.

All the flag sentiments are from CASual Fridays' RAD. I stamped each word
on grosgrain ribbon with Archival Black ink, and I was pleasantly surprised
how crisp it turned out with no feathering or bleeding.
The banner was then attached to a woodgrain embossed card. 

Oh, and see that striped ribbon? It's six years old! It's from Cosmo Cricket's
Jack's World series and I can't believe that I'm only using it now.....in 2014.

CASual Fridays #131--Three Thirds

CFC131 is THREE THIRDS--create a clean and simple project

using only 3 elements on ONE THIRD of your card.

I think this is challenge is the epitome of CLEAN AND SIMPLE, and if you've ever

wanted to try CAS, then this challenge is for you! Here's my card.

I gold embossed the sentiment in the middle third of the card, and added
three gold stars, then finished off with three scored lines at the top.

Easy peasy, right?
