CAS(E) this Sketch! 34

CAS(E) this Sketch 34 is this little number by Karolyn Loncon.

And here's my take on it.

I got crafty with a speech bubble die and button punch.
My favorite dot border from Mama Elephant was white embossed together
with the sentiment from Technique Tuesday. I trimmed and rounded off the corners
of the speech bubble from Avery Elle because it was a tad too big for the sentiment.

Visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see what my teammates came up with
and join us if you can. You have until Thursday, July 4th to link up your card.

CASology--Fish

This week's cue word at CASology is FISH.
I reached for Paper Smooches' Surf and Turf and chose two fish
that appeared (to me) to be romantically involved.

I stamped them in black ink and left them uncolored.
The punny sentiment was hand scribbled and I adhered a puffy heart.

Speaking of annifisheries, my hubby and I just celebrated one last week.
Check out the number on the fruit bouquet our daughter gave us.

Yep, 34 wonderful years with the same fish.

Thanks, always, for stopping by!

CAS(E) this Sketch 33

Here's this week's sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch by Jackie Rockwell.

And here's my loosely literal take on it.

The butterflies are from The Greeting Farm. They were stamped with Versamark ink,
die cut with matching dies, and placed on the dot background from Mama Elephant.
The card was finished off with one of my fave sentiments from Paper Smooches.

Here's a tip if you need a matching pearl color--
color them with Copics! Or any permanent pen like a Sharpie will do since they now come in a spectrum of colors.

Stop by CAS(E) this Sketch to see how the rest of the design team interpreted this sketch and play along with us.
You have until Thursday, June 27 to link up your card.

Thanks for stopping by!
