MFT Wed Sketch Challenge #452

Are you ready for this week's MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge?
Meet Sketch #452.

Here's my take on it .

Three hedgehogs were stamped, colored and cut with the matching Die-namics.
I cut out three circles per the sketch and ink distressed them in summery colors.
Whimsical Woodgrain was stamped on kraft card stock with white pigment ink.

The circles were adhered to the card and topped with a hedgehog. Sentiments
were white embossed and cut with skinny strips Die-namics then adhered
over each hedgehog.

MFT Wed Sketch Challenge #451

Here's this week's MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #451.

And here's my take on it, rotating the sketch 90° clockwise.

I cut four rectangles from white card stock then cut the acronym for "Thank You
Very Much" from each one. After ink distressing each letter, they were popped back
into their respective space. They were adhered to a Grout Gray card base and the
second part of the sentiment was added beneath. Enamel dots finished off the card.

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #450

Are you ready for this week's MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge?
Here's Sketch #450.

And here's how I interpreted the sketch.

I stenciled a brick background then cut out a wonky stitched rectangle
and adhered it to a gray card base. I popped up the handsome chef, and
finished off the card with the banner sentiment.

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #449

And here's my take on it. Yay, me, I pretty much stuck to the sketch.

A stitched dome was ink distressed in two colors, spattered with water, then
adhered to a Grout Gray card base. I added the pelican and grounded him with
a few rocks, then finished off with the sentiment.

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #448

Ready for this week's MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge?
Here's Sketch #448.

This sketch bears resemblance to a CAS(E) this Sketch card from 2018
where a wrapped present inspired me.

Basically, I changed the colors and came up with this--another present.

A bow and three strips of card stock were cut from Coral Crush card stock.
The sentiment was stamped on  a Peach Bellini card base, then dry embossed
with the polka dot cover up plate. The bow was assembled then adhered to the
longest strip. All three strips were then adhered to the card.

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #447

And here's how I interpreted the sketch.

I was going to use water or land for the bottom of the sketch, and land won.
Two rows of grassy edges were stenciled with Limelight ink and spattered with
water. I added my favorite cow and a few cloud outlines to keep the card CAS.
The stamped sentiment in contrasting red ink finished off the card.

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #445

Here's this week's MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #445.

And here's my take on it.

Three aquatic critters were white embossed and ink distressed, then cut with
the matching Die-namics. A panel was ink distressed with Distress Oxide inks and
spattered with water. The sentiment was silver embossed on navy card stock then
adhered to the card. The three animals were adhered per the sketch and the card
was finished off with clear sequins.

MFT Wed Sketch Challenge #443

Welcome back to this week's MFT Wed Sketch Challenge.
Here's Sketch #443.

And here's my take on it.

Yep, I substituted the cute little pup for the star. All the pup's pieces were cut
from white card stock, then ink distressed or colored with Copic markers.
A kraft panel was stamped with the All Lined Up Background and cut with
the scalloped element from Blueprints 27.

The panel was adhered to a Natural card base and the pup was assembled
and popped up over it. The sentiment was white embossed on red card stock
and cut with the banner die and positioned as if the pup is holding it.

MFT June Birthday Project--Peek-a-Boo Surprise

While some surprises are less-than-welcome, a birthday surprise is an exception.
If the honoree isn’t the surprise party type, crafting a card that features a peek-a-boo
element is a perfect compromise.

With a variety of Die-namics options — from flip-up windows to interactive wheels,
you’re sure to come up with the perfect peek-a-boo design for this month’s
Birthday Project Challenge.

I chose an aquatic theme for my project, with the Stitched Interactive Window Trio--
my favorite interactive Die-namics. I ink distressed a panel, then cut the windows
into it. Three fish were white embossed and ink distressed then cut with the
matching Die-namics.

The panel was adhered to a white card base. Each window was opened and a sentiment
was stamped inside. I adhered the fish to the windows, then added coral, seaweed, and
rocks on the bottom of the card. I stamped the sentiment, then finished off the card
with clear drops.

Add an interactive, peek-a-boo element to your Birthday Project and you could be
the random winner of a $50 MFT gift voucher! Visit the MFT blog for all the details
and deadlines and we hope to see you in the gallery!
