Freshly Made Sketches #760

Jen B brings us Freshly Made Sketches #760 and it looks like this.

And here's how I interpreted her sketch.

On an earlier sketch, teammie Karren cut out a negative space on her card and I
always forget to do that. So I did. After trimming an A2 sized panel, I ran it through
a textured embossing folder, then cut a diagonal per Jen's sketch.

I couldn't decide on a color to place behind the negative so I went with pale gray.
A flower and leaves were added and finished off with one of my favorite
Honeybee Stamps sentiments.

Be sure to visit Freshly Made Sketches to see how the rest of the team interpreted
Jen's sketch and join us if you can. The deadline is Monday, Nov 2nd at 3PM EST.
Hope to see you in the gallery!

Freshly Made Sketches #759

This week's Freshly Made Sketches #759 is brought to you by our teammie
Verena with so many possibilities for the circular element.

Here's what I came up with.

I used the Penny Black pumpkin again and embossed it after die cutting it from white
card stock. I used dye inks to color it and also some flowers and leaves.

A piece of sand card stock was embossed with tiny dots, then adhered it to a dark
brown card base. I popped up the pumpkin and added enamel dots to the flower centers.
Lastly, I added a white embossed Altenew sentiment.

Visit Freshly Made Sketches to see how Verena and the rest of the team interpreted
her sketch and come and join us if you can. Link up your card by Monday, Oct 26
at 3PM EST. We hope you'll play along!

Freshly Made Sketches #758

Hi friends! After dodging two hurricanes at home and a couple of typhoons in Japan,
I've finally recuperated and it feels good to craft again.

Our leader Jen T brings us Sketch #758 for this week's Freshly Made Sketches.

That's a ton of white space for you to fill in as you wish, and she asks for a
one layer wonder with a second layer just for the sentiment.

I used Altenew's Magnolia Dreams 3D embossing folder and colored the panel in
pink fading into orange. Two colors looked a little flat, so I added a bit of lilac
at the top. I went over the surface with a white pigment pad and then a sanding block.

Before adding the sentiment, I spattered a bit of white paint, then finished off with
a few iridescent sequins.

How will you fill out your panel? Visit Freshly Made Sketches to see how the rest
of the design team worked Jen's sketch and come and join us if you can. The deadline
to link up your card is Monday, Oct 19th at 3PM EST.
