MFT September 2019 Release Countdown Day 5

It's time to showcase MFT's September 2019 Release! Get ready for autumnal
goodness plus a little caffeine thrown in for good measure.

This month, Birdie Brown brings us two fun sets-- Sweater Weather in the Woods
and Sweater Weather on Safari--cute little critters with a cozy caffeine theme
that I paired with the Knitted Sweater Background Stamp.

I stamped two bears and colored one of them as a polar bear. The sweater background
was white embossed, ink distressed with several colors of ink, then trimmed and adhered
to a card base. I stamped the small "to go" cup in light gray ink, then adhered and popped
up the bears and finished off with the sentiment.

MFT August 2019 Release Countdown Day 1

It's the final Countdown Day of My Favorite Things August Release!
All new products will go on sale tomorrow, August 6th at 10AM EST.

Have you ever wanted to thank your favorite nurse or doctor, or both, as a team?
Birdie Brown has you covered with two new sets--Call the Shots and Bedside Manner.
 The stamp sets and Die-namics are sold separately, but I've combined them on my card.

Both images were stamped and colored, then cut with the matching Die-namics.

I stamped the smaller images from both sets with Grout Gray ink on a stitched 

rectangle panel and adhered it to a Grout Gray Card base.

The nurse was adhered directly to the card and I popped up the doctor with some

dimensional adhesive. The stamped sentiment finished off the card.

I inadvertently colored the images after our daughter's pediatric oncologist and

nurse--Dr. Bob and Linda. Over 30 years ago, they took very good care of her and

they helped us through some trying times as well.

MFT August 2019 Release Countdown Day 2

It's two more days until MFT's August Release! 

Are you ready? Is your shopping list growing longer by the day?

Today I'm sharing a card featuring Best Witches, some sweet witches who flew in
just in time for Halloween.

I stamped a background with purple spatters and trimmed the panel out with

a stitched rectangle die, then adhered it to a Grout Gray card base. The little witch,

cat, and pumpkin were adhered over the spatters.

I stamped the sentiment on a Grout Gray banner and adhered it under the

witch. The card was finished off with green enamel dots.

SQUIRREL!
This month Birdie Brown introduces a set of squirrels together with punny,
nutty sentiments and matching Die-namics, sold separately.

Whimsical Woodgrain was stamped on kraft card stock in kraft ink for a tone on tone
look. A stitched dome was ink distressed and spattered with water. After the piece was
completely dry, the sentiment was white embossed on top.

The piece was adhered to the card base and the squirrel, mushroom, and acorns were
popped up over it. Isn't he a cutie?

Are you ready for more peeks at MFT's August Rrelease? All new goodies will

On Day 4  Stacey Yacula brings us Spooktacular Friends--a set of critters who are
more than ready for Halloween.

I stamped and colored the owl and diecut the image together with white card 

stock and adhered them together to form a thick chipboard piece. A background

was inked distressed and stamped with the haunted house and tree.

Whimsical Woodgrain was stamped on a Grout Gray card base, then the dome piece 

was adhered on top. I adhered the owl on the card and finished off with the sentiment.

MFT August 2019 Release Countdown Day 5

It's Day 5 of My Favorite Things August 2019 Release Countdown!

My card showcases the new Carousel Die-namics and Carousel Horses.

Summertime means carnivals and this carousel makes for a super fun card. There's an
interactive element that other Creative Team members are sharing but I chose to go
the simple route.

All the carousel pieces were cut from white card stock, ink distressed, and assembled.
The horses were stamped, colored, and cut with the matching Die-namics. A panel was
inked with Cracked Pistachio Distress ink, spattered with water and adhered to a
Grout Gray card base..

The carousel was popped up over the panel and the horses were adhered to each pole.
A white embossed sentiment banner and enamel dots finished off the card.

MFT July 2019 Release Countdown Day 1

It's the final Countdown Day of My Favorite Things July Release!

All new goodies will go on sale tomorrow, July 9th at 10AM EST in the MFT Store.

Today's card features another unicorn from Fairy-Tale Friends, paired with a new rainbow

Die-namics and Cute Cloud Outlines Die-namics, which was the previous "free with $60" die.

Once again I stamped the rainbow and cloud image with Grout Gray ink on a white

card panel and adhered it to a Grout Gray card base. The unicorn was stamped and

colored with Copics, then cut with the matching Die-namics. Three more unicorn shapes

were cut and layered to form a thick piece and the colored image was adhered on top.

The rainbow was die cut and inked with three colors that matched the unicorn.

The clouds, rainbow and unicorn were popped up on the card and finished off with

the stamped sentiment.

It's two more sleeps until My Favorite Things July Release!

Today I'm sharing a card using Fairy-Tale Friends, because don't we all love
a cute unicorn?

The unicorn was stamped and colored with Copics, then three more diecuts
were adhered together with the colored image on top.

The rainbow and clouds image was stamped with Grout Gray ink on a white
panel then topped with the unicorn. I adhered the panel to a Grout Gray card
base, stamped the sentiment, and added a few silver sparkle stars.

MFT July 2019 Release Countdown Day 3

We're halfway to MFT's July Release! All new products will go on sale
Tuesday, July 9th at 10AM EST in the MFT Store!

This month's Pure Innocence cutie--Happy You Day--is all dressed up for a party.
Check out her fur collar and cute little boots!

I colored her with Copics and cut her with the matching Die-namics.  She was
grounded with woodgrain "flooring" and polka dots were added to her balloon.
The stamped sentiment finished off the card.

My second card features a new Celebrate With Cake Die-namics, topped with a
cute turtle from Stacey Yacula's Sending Sweet Celebratory Wishes.

The cake and cake stand were inked and spattered with water then adhered
to a card. The turtle was stamped and colored with Copics, then popped up on
the cake. I added the sentiment banner and finished off with sequins.

MFT July 2019 Release Countdown Day 4

Welcome back to Day 4 of My Favorite Things July Release Countdown!

Today we're featuring Impact Alphabet and Impact Numbers Die-namics--
big, bold letters and numbers that will make a statement on your projects.

I have two projects to share with you today. For the first, I die cut three sets of
the acronym and stacked them together to form thick, chipboard-like letters.

They were die cut once more from watercolor card stock and inked with
Distress inks, then spattered with water. When they were dried, they were
adhered on the respective letters, then adhered to a white card base.

The second part of the sentiment was stamped beneath the letters and a strip
of patterned paper was added underneath. Clear sequins finished off the card.

I decided to deboss the entire alphabet on a panel of watercolor card stock since
I didn't cut the letters apart. The panel was adhered to a white card base, then
stamped with some spatters.

The letters and number were cut three times and layered like in the previous card.
I ink distressed the sentiment letters in rainbow order and adhered them to the
respective letters. 

I adhered them slightly crooked over the panel, then finished off the card with the
white embossed sentiment on a fishtail banner.
