MFT June Release Countdown Begins!

It's that time of the month: My Favorite Things New Release Countdown!

Day 5 begins with Watercolor Flowers, a layered set of blooms and leaves,
paired with beautiful bold sentiments from Written in Watercolor.

The base layer of all the images was stamped with Distress inks and spritzed
with water before stamping on watercolor paper. The second layer was stamped with
the same ink without water, for a darker tone.

And see those bigger leaves? I didn't realize they were actually flower images
until I stamped them, but I like the look and probably invented my own leaf species.

After the images dried, I stamped the sentiment, then die cut the panel with the new
Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle Stax then popped it up with foam tape to give it dimension.
A few sequins finished off the card.

Head over to the MFT blog for links to the designers participating in the countdown
and leave a comment there for your chance to win a $75 prize to shop in the MFT store!
All new products will be available for purchase in the store on June 2nd.

Thanks for stopping by today--hope to see you tomorrow!
