MFT Ingenious Inking--Watercolor Wash

Today I'm joining the MFT design team for my first Ingenious Inking Challenge.
Our challenge is to create a watercolor wash on our project using inkpads and/or reinkers.

If you already have them on hand, MFT's dye based inkpads and reinkers
are the perfect medium for watercoloring, and they come in a rainbow of colors, too.

For my card, I used several inkpads to create the ombré rainbow background.
Tap the inkpad color on an acrylic block to use as your palette. Add water, depending
on the intensity or opacity of color that you want.

The surface was prepped with water, then color was added over it. The water
allows the colors to blend and mix to form new colors. After it was dried, I stamped the
sentiment, flicked on some white ink, and finished off the card with sequins and twine.

Visit the MFT blog for links to other design team members, and see how
they interpreted the challenge. If you want to play along, be sure to tag
your project(s) #MFTStamps and share on social media--we'd love to see!
