Welcome to Day 4 of My Favorite Things February Release Countdown!
This month, Birdie Brown introduces Recipe for Happiness featuring some
seasoned chefs, and I was inspired to create something other than a card--
embroidery hoop projects that can be used as kitchen decor.
Blogging friend Amy Tsuruta is the queen of hoop projects. Check out her
creations here, here, and here. Cute, huh? I decided to give it a go.
on the top, then glue the inner hoop to the wrong side of printed paper. After it dries,
use an X-acto knife to trim around the edge. I used a sanding block to smooth out any
rough edges. Reassemble the hoops and you are now ready to decorate as you wish.
For both hoops, I used patterned paper from the Painted Prints Smitten collection.
The chefs were colored with Copics and die cut with the matching dies. Both
sentiments were white embossed and the banner strips were adhered together
with the chef and hearts.

Here's one more look at my project--I really like how they turned out.
A big shout out to Amy for the inspiration. This may be my new "go to" project!
