Welcome to My Favorite Things December Release Countdown!
Day 5 begins with a fun Die-namics--Bold Beautiful.
When I first saw the die, so many ideas ran through my head. Pop different
colors of card stock in each of the letter spaces, possibly use patterned papers.
But in the end, easy peasy won and I came up with this.
I prepared a card base by covering it with striped patterned paper. A watercolor
panel was ink distressed and spattered with water, then set aside to dry.

I prepared a card base by covering it with striped patterned paper. A watercolor

I die cut the sentiment from black card stock, being careful to save the inner parts
of the letters A and B. The sentiment was then adhered to the inked panel with
spray adhesive, and I stamped "Hello" in the upper left corner. The panel was
adhered to the card base and finished off with Sparkling Clear confetti.

ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, Donna! Love the bright color combo, the fabulous ink-distressing with spatters, and the modern B/W striped matte! The die-cut big sentiment is awesome, and stamping "Hello," at the top left corner is a great idea. The shiny clear sequins go so well with the black sentiment and the striped trim.
