Are you ready? It's time to shop for My Favorite Things December Release!
All new goodies can be found here in the MFT Store!
It's also time for MFT & Friends when the Creative Team and guests bring you
more inspiration and fresh ideas using the new Release!
As soon as I saw the new Boutique Die-namics, I envisioned a gift card holder and I'm
pretty pleased with how it turned out.
I die cut most of the pieces in the set and ink distressed the awning. The plants were
colored with Copic markers and a brick pattern was stenciled on the side of the
building. The door and step were cut from kraft card stock.
I placed heavyweight vellum over the window and door and added a couple of pups from
Friends at First Sip. I die cut the stitched rounded panel from Blueprints 33 and white
embossed the sentiment on the top. I used a double row of dimensional adhesive to
pop up the boutique over it.
My slider mechanism is rather crude. I don't really have one. I simply added a pull tab
cut from kraft card stock and adhered it to the back of the gift card for easy removal.
