MFT March Release Countdown--Day 1

It's the last day of My Favorite Things Release Countdown!

Do you have your wish lists ready? All new products will go on sale tomorrow,
March 7th at 9PM EST in the MFT Store!

Today I'm sharing a project--something other than a card--using the
Home Sweet Home Die-namics and No Place Like Home sentiment set, both of
which were part of a recent Card Kit that can now be purchased separately.

A Wine Tag was decorated with colorful houses for a congratulatory gift
to a new homeowner. The houses were cut from watercolor card stock and
quickly colored with Zig markers and a water brush. For some contrast, two
trees were cut from black card stock and adhered on the tag.

I stamped the sentiment, and finished off the tag with a strip of patterned
paper from the new Black and White Basics paper pad. If you're not sure if
your recipient partakes wine or alcohol, sparkling cider or a bottle of
good olive oil are some good alternatives.

Visit today's countdown post at My Favorite Things for more inspiration
from the design team and leave a comment there for a chance to win $75
in prizes! Please be sure to stop by tomorrow for the New Product Launch!

  7. Donna, what a lovely welcome to your new home gift! I love the watercolor affect you achieved on the houses! I also like the black silhouette of the trees. They don't detract from the houses and also tie in with the black and white stripe under the black sentiment. Thank you for sharing.
