White Pages Recipe Swap

My washi banner card was recently chosen as a winner over at Catered Crop. (Thank you, Linda!) As one of the winners, I was invited to be a guest designer for their next challenge.

This week, the key ingredient is white. Simply use the color white somewhere on your card.

Here are some white on white cards that I've done before. I wanted to try something different with a little more stamping involved.

I played around with some ideas and decided that my key ingredient would be the ink.  I used my very favorite white ink--Papertrey Ink's Fresh Snow. Here's my card.

I stamped the Lattice Background on kraft cardstock and stamped the Circle Lace over it. A flower was adhered to the center of the doily image, and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp. I sponged a bit of white ink around the edges and rounded the corners for a softer look.

There are many ways to interpret how to use white on your card. Join the fun this week over at Catered Crop and you could be a guest designer, too.

If I'm not too late, I'll enter this card in A Blog Named Hero's Challenge #9--Freestyle, where anything goes.

Thanks for visiting today and have a wonderful weekend!
