CFC63--Color Challenge

This week's CASual Fridays challenge is a color challenge. After going through my inks and papers, I chose three Distress inks that were pretty close to the challenge colors.

Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers and Mowed Lawn were ink distressed on a piece of watercolor paper. I misted the piece with some water and let it dry. A small butterfly and flower were randomly stamped to bring some life to the scene.

I chose the handwritten sentiment from Purple Onion Designs because the piece had a melancholy feel to it. The stamping, ink distressing and water splotches aren't perfect, but I'm pleased with how the card turned out.
