Catered Crop's latest recipe ingredient is washi tape and I couldn't resist playing along.
After gathering my (partial) collection of washi tape for a photo shoot, I made this quick card.
I folded several strips of washi tape over some twine and trimmed them to form pennants.
I love the transparency of washi tape and how the different widths and patterns
make for a fun banner.
I wanted to punch out a heart on one of the flags, but the punch kept getting stuck. Plan B was to tape some pink washi tape on a piece of cardstock, punch out the heart and adhere it to the flag. Much better. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.
If you have a stash of washi tape, give the challenge a go. The prize sponsor is Chickydoddle
and you could win a gift certificate to her Etsy store...and buy more washi tape!
I love this cheerful card, Donna! Must get some washi tape...
