CFC 62--Back in Black


CASual Fridays Challenge #62 is Back in Black, to create a clean and simple card with a black card base.


Black is so dramatic and I don't use it that often as a card base. So the hardest part of the challenge was finding some black cardstock and trying to take a good photo of the card on a not so sunny day.


I stamped Hero Arts' Circle Lace with Versamark and white embossed the design. I also stamped the sentiment on a scrap piece and trimmed it out. I adhered the flower and sentiment, rounded off one corner and the card was done.

I'll be taking a little blogging break for a few days, trying to catch up with visiting the 1000+ blogs in my Google Reader. I'm sorry if I haven't been visiting any of you on a regular basis. Hopefully I can revisit you this weekend.

    Strikingly elegant, Donna. The flower in the centre of the lace adds a lovely soft touch. Come to the UK, we have plenty of dull days!
