From the time of their sneaky peeks, I knew I had to get Avery Elle's Picture It stamp set.
I couldn't resist the Instagram-ish camera, the picture frame, the fun bubble sentiments
and the washi tape, too. Definitely a must have set for cardmaking and Project Life.
I made this card in no time at all. The hardest part was trying to find the right color
and type of ink to give the solid stamp a good impression. I used Hero Arts Mid Tone inks
which did the trick, and colored in the bars with some Copics. One corner was rounded off
to mimic the edges of the camera and the card was done.
In case you're wondering who would receive an "Oh Snap" card, I plan to stamp
"Sorry I missed your birthday" on the inside.
Oh, and to make your life easier, as with most Avery Elle stamps, this set comes with
free cut files in SVG and PDF format. How cool is that?
I was going to enter this in Moxie Fab World's Card Design Handbook challenge
but I didn't know whether it fit the "repetition" or "focal point" category. What do you think? Either or neither?
Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy the rest of your week!

ReplyDeleteUtterly adorable!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteFor stamps with a lot of surface area, I tend to use Fresh Ink (pigment ink available through Impress). Or I load up my stamp with Versamark first before using the colored ink. This works well for SU, Distress, and Memento:)
Love your card, Donna!!
