Season's Greetings, Deer

By popular demand, Spellbinders has re-released Season's Greetings, Deer
as an October 2020 Kit add on. This set was part of an earlier Card Kit of the Month
and the kind folks at Spellbinders sent me a set to play with. I had so.much.fun!

The set comes with 19 dies and creates adorable deer faces that can go from
cute and sassy to playful, depending on the pieces that you choose.
 Check out these samples.

I decided to go feminine after seeing the eyelashes in the set.

The pieces can be cut from colored card stock but if you know me, I had to use white
card stock and ink distress as much as I could to give the image some dimension.

I adhered all the pieces over a wood grain stamped panel, then adhered the
panel to a kraft card base. And I wish you could see the eyelashes up close.
I curled them a bit because I just couldn't resist!

For my second card I made a Santa Deer just by changing up the elements.

I inked the Santa hat and bow with red inks and used white glitter card stock for
the trimmings on the hat. I wasn't planning on using the "cheeks" but I think it
helps to define the deer's face.

It's admirable when companies listen to their customers and bring back a
well loved product. It's a win win situation for all, don't you think?
Quantities are limited so be sure to grab your set while you can.

Thanks so much for visiting!
