CASology Week #368 -- PLANT

The cue word for Week #368 at CASology is PLANT.

Truthfully, plants do not thrive under my care, but I do feel comfortable with
stamping them. I recently discovered an Altenew set that I bought a while ago
and decided to finally let it touch some ink.

I stamped the basil plant directly on woodgrain card stock and colored the image
with Copic markers, then stamped the sentiment beneath it. The panel was cut
with a stitched rectangle die and adhered to an aqua card base.

I was planning to leave the card as one layer, but couldn't resist adding the snail
and a glittery trail behind him. It's hard to capture, but here's a closer look.

I hope you're having a great week and thanks so much for stopping by!

  3. You inspired me to pull out my Altenew stamp set, which I haven't used it for a long time...
