It's Day 3 of My Favorite Things June Release Countdown and today
I'm sharing the latest from Pure Innocence and some fresh new flowers.
I always look forward to the monthly Pure Innocence designs, and I must
admit that I squealed when I saw this month's stamp--Fun in the Sun.
She's lying on either a beach towel or inflatable mat, and I chose to have her
float on water. I inked a watercolor card with Distress inks and spattered it
with water. After it was dried, I white embossed the sentiment and adhered it
to a green panel.

The image was colored with Copics and you can't see it from the photo,
but I dotted her bathing suit with a pigment pen. She was die cut with the
matching Die-namics and popped up on the "water". I added pops of color
with enamel dots, and adhered the panel to a top folding card.
The finishing touch? A snazzy pair of sunglasses, of course!
My second card features the new Funky Flowers stamp set and matching
Die-namics. I stamped Latté card stock with the new Whimsical Woodgrain
background stamp and cut the panel with Blueprints 24 rectangle element.

The blooms and leaves were white embossed on watercolor card stock and
colored with Distress inks using ink daubers. After die cutting them, I
assembled and adhered them to the woodgrain panel and added the white
embossed sentiment. Enamel dots finished up the card.
