Are you ready for My Favorite Things June Card Kit?
Make a Wish is the theme of this month's kit and it will have you crankin' out
tons of birthday cards with the help of fun stamps and dies! Visit the MFT blog
for a complete list of contents of this amazing kit.
Today participating design team members are sharing projects made with
supplies found "in the box". Here's my card.
I prepared the card base by trimming a sheet of patterned paper to fit a
top folding card. I die cut assorted candles from white card stock and inked them
with dye inks. MFT's inks are so vibrant and make inking effortless.
The flames were cut from Lemon Drop card stock and inked on the bottom
with Persimmon ink. A bit of Lemon Drop ink was sponged on a panel,
and the candles and flames were adhered over it. I stamped the sentiments
and added a bit of highlight on each candle with a white pigment pen.
Visit today's post at My Favorite Things for more inspiration from
the design team. The Make a Wish Card Kit will go on sale Tuesday, June 21st
at 10PM EST in the MFT Store!
