It's time for the 2016 Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!
Amy and her crew have done it again! A bigger blog hop than the previous one,
with more sponsors, prizes, and I'm betting more participants, too.
I was so looking forward to the hop and couldn't wait to enter (early, for once!)
my card. I used a STAMPlorations coffee mug stamp and did some quick
watercoloring with Zig markers.
I stamped and masked the mug on watercolor card stock, and used more
"summery" colors of Zig markers to color them. I stamped black spatters
and mounted the panel on a black card base.
The sentiment is from a discontinued My Favorite Things stamp set. I wish
that they would bring it back, because it has some of the best caffeinated
sentiments. I took a long time to choose mine, and I think it speaks the truth.

ReplyDeleteDonna, this is a perfect summer coffee card! Yes, that sentiment IS wonderful, a shame it is retired. The cups and splatters are awesome, thought...I may need to buy that set!
