MFT October Release Countdown Day 1

It's the final Countdown Day until tomorrow's My Favorite Things October Release!
All new products will go on sale at 10AM EST in the MFT Store.

This month, MFT is releasing the Filled with Joy stamp set and Die-namics, that
were part of the Filled with Joy Card Kit, which quickly sold out. Today I'm sharing
a clean and simple card using the JOY Die-namics and Tweet Holidays.

When I saw how round the adorable birds in Tweet Holiday were, I thought about
replacing it for the "O" in the JOY sentiment. I chose one of the single birds, colored
him with Copics, then cut him out with the matching Die-namics. I also cut out
two more bird shapes, then glued them together to form a thick, chipboard piece.

The letters J and Y were cut three times each from white card stock and glued
together so they were the same thickness as the bird. I adhered them to a white
card base, substituting the bird for the letter "O".

The first part of the sentiment was stamped above the JOY, and a strip of black
and white diagonal striped paper was adhered to the bottom of the card.

Visit today's Countdown post at My Favorite Things for more peeks at the new
Release and leave a comment there for a chance to win a $75 prize! Please stop by
tomorrow for the New Product Launch!
