There's a slew of Die-namics released this month, and I was happy to use as many as I
could on my projects. Delightful Deer was cut from Neenah Desert Storm card stock and
I added some shading with Distress inks and daubers to give them a bit of dimension.
A summer sky was inked on a dome shape, then spattered with water and white paint.
The deer were grounded with a piece of brown card stock with a white embossed sentiment.
The dome shaped piece was adhered to a kraft card base, then sprinkled with stars.

I'd like to share a little boo boo that I made with these dies. I was so excited about
making a card with them that I didn't notice the "holes" in their bodies which I
thought were highlights.
After I took a closer look at the dies, I realized that I left in the nose and tail tip
for each deer which should have been snipped off before die cutting.
(Insert embarrassed face here)
So, if you purchase these Delightful Deer, remember to snip off the dies BEFORE
you run them through your machine 😉

ReplyDeleteHi Donna, gorgeous card! I would very much like to ink a card using the same distress ink colors you have used in the sky here. Could you tell me which colors they were, specifically? The links to the 4 packs of mini ink cubes don't appear to be working, but I do have all of the mini cubes. I would greatly appreciate knowing which gorgeous colors you used! Thanks so much! -Jen
