Here's this week's Wednesday Sketch Challenge #402.
And here's my take on it.
Itsy Bitsy Polka Dots was stamped with Distress ink on Grout Gray card stock.
The Moroccan Mosaic Stencil was placed on an alcohol ink background and
tapped with ink blending solution to remove the color.
I trimmed out a rectangle from the alcohol ink piece and adhered it to the
card base. The sentiment was gold embossed on a strip of black card stock and
adhered to the card, then finished off with sequins.

I love this card, Donna! It's stunning and ingenious! Choosing a bitty polka dot background for the Alcohol Ink piece is so fresh! You think it will get busy but look at what you did - the polka dot background makes the AI piece look very modern.
ReplyDeleteAnd you made such an interesting AI stenciled panel. I would have never thought of using the Moroccan Mosaic stencil this way. The gold heat-embossed sentiment on a black strip is perfect for the vibrant AI background, and the shiny sequins are a nice finishing touch.
