MFT April Release Countdown--Day 1

It's the last day of My Favorite Things April Release Countdown! All new goodies will
go on sale tomorrow, April 3rd at 9PM EST.

Today I'm sharing a Mother's Day card, pairing Bold Blossoms with a new word
Die-namics and the camouflage technique.

I stamped a background using MFT's dye inks. To add dimension, I went over the leaves
with a Copic marker and highlighted the flowers with a white Gel pen. I cut through the
stamped piece with the MOM Die-namics, then placed adhesive tape behind the opening.
I layered three more sets of letters together, then popped them back in the respective
openings with the stamped letters on top.

The panel was cut with a stitched rectangle die, then adhered to a Stone Gray card base.
The second part of the sentiment was white embossed on a sentiment strip, then
adhered to the card.

Visit today's Countdown post at My Favorite Things and don't forget to leave a comment
for a chance to win a $75 prize! Thanks for stopping by today and hope you'll stop
by tomorrow for the New Product Launch!

  4. Pretty colorful design. I really like this technique for the lettering. And yes, I need to remember the adhesive you used rather than my gluing it and doing it the hard way. :)

  6. Very pretty and cheerful mom card, Donna! Your Copic shading and white gel pen highlighting are so effective. The die-cut sentiment with the camouflage technique is very interesting. Thanks for sharing how you did it! Hideko xx
