Shaker cards are ridiculously addictive - both to create and to
play with. That
“shooka, shooka” sound your recipient will hear before they even open the envelope
is a sure sign that something AMAZING will be found within!

Here's my shaker card which came together quickly thanks to a circle die
and some chicks that were in my stash, waiting to be used on a project.
I stamped an In the Buff panel with Balloon Strings in Versamark ink. After
die cutting the scalloped circle through it, I adhered a piece of acetate over it.
Foam tape was doubled up around the circle. I stamped the sentiment on a
scrap of Limelight card stock, then cut out a circle to fit over the opening.
I added several spoonfuls of sequins in the opening, then covered it with the green
circle. I adhered the panel to an In the Buff card base, then added the five chicks on top.

Absolutely adorable shaker card, Donna! Love your subtle balloon strings in the background and your beautiful coloring on those cute little chicks!
ReplyDeleteYour Copic coloring and the white gel pen highlights make the chicks so adorable! A very fun birthday shaker card. The subtle balloon string background adds a nice visual texture. Hideko xx
