MFT April Creative Construction with Blueprints--Come As You Are

Mixing and matching Blueprints elements is such an appealing way of creating
something new and exciting. Every new Blueprints release includes a quartet of
sketches featuring the elements. Join our team this month as they interpret
Blueprints sketches and make them their own.

For my project, I chose to work with Blueprints 26.

My card is loosely based on a combination of the first and fourth sketches.

The grassy hill was formed with the largest balloon element. After ink distressing
the balloon, I covered up the "neck" portion with the koalas and adhered the
smaller balloon that was ink distressed with Distress Oxide inks.

Three little birds were adhered to the card, and the sentiment was white
embossed on the hill. I finished off the card by rounding off the bottom corners.

CAS(E) this Sketch #218

N@ Ali brings us this week's CAS(E) this Sketch. Here's Sketch #218.

And here's my literal take on it.

A strip of patterned paper was adhered to a Stone Gray card base. The
sentiment was white embossed and ink distressed with two colors of Distress
Oxide inks, trimmed into a banner and adhered to the card. Some pearls
finished off the card.

Visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see how the rest of my teammates interpreted
the sketch, and join us if you can. Link up your card(s) by Thursday, April 27th
and as a winner, you could be joining us on a future sketch!

MFT A-maze-ing Card Kit Release

It's time! You may now purchase the A-maze-ing Card Kit in the MFT Store!
This is such a fun kit, perfect for kids' cards, and the "kid" in all of us.

For today's project, I decided to make a shaker card with the kit. Note that all
products found in the kit are listed in bold print.

Razzle Berry, Orange Fizz, and Wild Cherry card stock were cut with the
rounded rectangle element from Blueprints 31. A circle was cut in the center
of the Razzle Berry panel, and the panel was lined up over the Orange Fizz panel.

The maze was stamped through the opening and white embossed. The clear
shaker pouch was filled with sequins and lined up over the maze. The Razzle
Berry panel was then adhered over the Orange Fizz panel.

The sentiment was gold embossed on the panel, and a Wild Cherry frame
was adhered to the panel. The card was finished off with die cut stars.

Grab your kit now in the MFT Store! It's a unique kit that's fun to assemble,
and equally fun for the recipient! Thanks for stopping by during the
Card Kit countdown and happy shopping!

MFT A-maze-ing Card Kit--Day 2

It's Day 2 of My Favorite Things A-maze-ing Card Kit countdown.
Today I'm sharing a quick card using only the stamps in the kit.

The maze image was white embossed over a watercolor card panel, then
ink distressed with several colors of Distress inks. The panel was cut with
the rectangle element from Blueprints 25 and adhered to a card base.

The sentiment was white embossed on a dark gray banner and the card
was finished off with a sprinkling of sequins.

Visit today's Card Kit post at My Favorite Things for more inspiration
from participating Creative Team members. This a-maze-ing kit will go
on sale tomorrow, April 18th at 9PM EST in the MFT Store!

MFT A-maze-ing Card Kit--Day 1

Are you ready for the newest card kit from My Favorite Things?
Meet the A-maze-ing Card Kit --a fun, playful kit with an interactive element
that is simply a-maze-ing!

Here's a peek at the kit. Visit My Favorite Things for a detailed list of the kit's contents.

Here's my card that came together quickly, thanks to the design elements in
Blueprints 31. Note that all products found in the kit are listed in bold print.

The clear pouch and maze fit perfectly in the opening on the card, so it was
just a matter of adhering patterned paper to the pieces, popping in the maze
and sphere, and adhering everything together.

The card was finished off with the white embossed sentiment. Fun, right?
And truthfully, I couldn't stop playing with the maze and almost forgot
to take a picture for this post!

Visit today's Card Kit post at My Favorite Things for more inspiration and get
ready to purchase the kit on Tuesday, April 18th at 9PM EST in the MFT Store!
