700th challenge in 14 years! I just had to make some time to join the fun.
design team and take a look back at each past and present member's first project.
Here's how I was inspired.
Spellbinders' Sunflower Die just arrived a few days ago after being OOS for quite
sometime. I die cut several layers from light yellow card stock and inked them
to create multi colored sunflowers.
I cut a square card base from cream colored card stock and ran the front through
an embossing folder. I wanted to frame the flowers so I cut MFT's Square Frame
then placed the flowers inside.
I added the single leaf, following the sketch, and chose a long script sentiment
to finish off the card.
Happy 700th, Freshly Made Sketches! Thanks for all the fun and inspiration
you bring week after week and here's to #800!
Donna, I am thrilled to see these new sunflowers - you're going to make me shop again, aren't you? What a brilliant idea to replace those little squares with four of these layered beauties! [oh yes, I saw that ONE little leave!]
ReplyDeleteYou have been a constant source of happy and wonderful cards for FMS over the years, my sweet friend. Thanks so much for playing cards with us - it wouldn't be a party without you!! x
