It's Die Week over at JUGS Challenge and Elizabeth requests using FLORAL dies
on our project.
She must have heard me squeal while using Pinkfresh Studio's Floral Field stencil
and die set. Here's my card.
I don't remember when this set came out but I've had it for a while and finally, after
watching a zillion how to videos, I summoned up the courage to create a card.
There are SEVEN stencils and having those triangles as guides for cutting out
the image without any white border is genius! I felt like a fussy cutter!
I embossed a card base with a dotty embossing folder and tripled up the image for
dimension. I splattered white paint and added some clear drops. A PFS ready made
foiled sentiment finished off the card.
Off to link this up. Thanks, always, for stopping by!
Oh, Donna... this could no be any more beautiful! I love every little snippet of it; especially the embossed dots peeking out. Thanks so much for sharing it with us at Just Us Girls!
ReplyDeleteWhat an exquisite card, Donna! I love the pink and yellow flowers and I'm impressed that you used seven stencils! That would have had my head swimming! I believe you have another winner here.
ReplyDeleteDonna... love what you did with this die set! I bought this awhile ago and have yet to pull it out of the NBUS pile...you are inspiring me! Fabulous card! Thanks so much for sharing with Just Us Girls.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card, Donna. The fact that there are no white edges makes the flowers stand out more although I'm sure the layers helped. ; ) I love both the splattered dots and the embossed ones. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls.
ReplyDeleteDonnna, I have eyed this die set a lot and now you put it in front of me in such a beautiful way. What a great card with the spatters and swiss dots for pretty little details. Thanks so much for playing with us at Just Us Girls!
ReplyDeleteIn my cart! and in my heart, I'm tip-toe-ing through your tulips, my friend!! Sooooo sensational!
