CASology #373 -- SEPTEMBER

I'm joining CASology's latest challenge with the cue word SEPTEMBER.
I decided to go the autumnal route after spotting this maple leaf in my
stash of die cuts.

It's an oldie from Simon Says Stamp and I may have cut it out from a
"boo boo" piece and just tossed it in the stash pile. I adhered it to a card
base, stamped the sentiment, and rounded off a corner.

I'm so glad the "boo boo" finally found a home.
Thanks for stopping by today!

  1. What a lovely leaf. The color mixing is so beautiful. I love the simplicity of this card with its message of hope and comfort. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology.

  2. Beautiful, simple, calm, elegant...all at the same time. I love this; thanks for the inspiration. It will motivate me to go through my scrap pile!

  3. I don't think there was ever a 'boo boo' Donna... it was made for this gorgeous leaf!

  4. Thanks for sharing this "boo boo"...love the colors you've used to make such an awesome simply designed card. Stay well.

  7. I love that your "boo boo" piece is more gorgeous then any of my best pieces. You are my ink blending hero, Donna! Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!

  8. What a gorgeous and lovely maple leaf, Donna! Love how the colors and the gold blended. I would be thrilled if I could ever make or find such a beautiful "boo boo" piece in my stash!!
