Here's this week's My Favorite Things Wed Sketch Challenge #376.
And here's my take on it.
A woodgrain pattern was stamped on a strip of Latté card stock and adhered
to a Primitive Cream card base. Per the sketch, I added a strip of diagonal
striped paper. The owl was colored with Copics and fussy cut, then perched
on a circle of brown card stock.
I popped up the owl and added the white embossed sentiment. I added more
details to the owl with a black pen and white pigment pen. The card was
finished off with a sprinkling of hearts.

random winner of the challenge and win a $50 MFT voucher!
Love your card! - so beautifully designed!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute owl!!
ReplyDeleteLove the combination of the organic woodgrain panel and the modern stripe strip, Donna! The pink and red little hearts pop against the neutral color background and they're perfect for the punny sentiment. :-D Hideko xx
