MFT March Birthday Project--Groovy Gift Cards

If you're short on time or gift ideas, a gift card is the perfect gift for a birthday or any
occasion. Join this month's Birthday Project Challenge by creating inspired gift card
presentations and you could be this week's random winner!

My project holds a gift card for a popular local sushi restaurant. A red card base was
stamped with Balloon Strings in Versamark Ink and cut with the gift card window.
Before assembling the pouch and gift card, the sentiment was white embossed above
the opening.

A panel was cut to fit behind the opening and a rip strip was added so the recipient
will have an easy time removing the gift card. I stamped, colored and cut the Ninja,
soy sauce bottle, and assorted sushi, then adhered them on the front of the card.

Visit the Card Challenges blog for all the details on how you could win a $50 MFT
gift voucher as the random winner of the challenge! Hope to see you in the gallery!

  1. Ha ha ha~ I hope you enjoyed good sushi in Japan. :-)
Ninja is holding a soy sauce bottle in stead of a throwing star! This cute gift card holder totally makes me smile. The balloon strings stamped in the background is a nice touch too. Hideko xx
