MFT February Release Countdown--Day 5

Welcome to My Favorite Things February Release Countdown!

Day 5 begins with a unique way to present a gift card--a Gift Card Window and
Frame Die-namics and Gift Card Pouches. Since I have many friends and family
who frequent a popular coffee company, I knew that this card was going to be
the first one I'd make.

I started off by die cutting two of the larger rounded rectangles from Blueprints 31
from Latté card stock. The gift card window was cut from the top layer and the two
part sentiment was white embossed above and below the opening.

I recycled a Starbucks® coffee sleeve and adhered it to a take out cup that was lightly
ink distressed for a bit of dimension. Before I assembled the pouch and card, a rip strip
was cut on the back panel so the recipient will have an easy time removing the gift card.

After assembling the gift card in the pouch, I adhered the two panels, making sure
not to put any adhesive on the rip strip so it will tear away easily. Now I may be biased,
but I think this is the neatest gift card presentation, ever!

  10. YES, this is the neatest gift card presentation, ever, Donna! You should send it to Howard Schultz or Starbucks Marketing Dept!! The soft sponging on the Latté card holder makes it look like leather and the paper cup with SB sleeve is just perfect! Hideko p.s. I love the SB Hawaii card too.
