MFT February Release Countdown--Day 2



It's two days until My Favorite Things February Release!

Feline lovers will love the new Purr-fect Friends stamp set and Die-namics.
 Today I'm sharing two cards with this fun set!
 

Tone on tone stamping was done with the Etched Tribal Background stamp
on Natural card stock with Versamark ink. The kitty and her friends were
stamped on natural card stock and colored with a combination of Zig markers
and Prismacolor pencils, then cut with the matching dies.

I added the frame, adhered the images, and stamped the sentiment. The
card was finished off with a combination of Nuvo Drops and enamel dots.


For the second card, I white embossed the flowered kitty several times on
watercolor card stock. Each one was ink distressed with two colors of ink
and cut with the matching dies. I adhered them over a white card base,
then added the stitched frame.


I finished off the card with the two part sentiment--a die cut hello, and a
white embossed banner.

    Donna, I have a dog I love, but your cards make me miss my deceased cat! Your cards are fantastic. I love the first one with the background stamp you used, the rounded rectangle die cut and the beautifully colored cat and birds (especially the one on his tail)! The second one is great with all the differently colored cats within and outside the frame! Thanks for sharing.
