My Favorite Things Flashy Florals Card Kit is ah-mazing! There's no end
to the number of projects you can create, and today, participating Creative Team
members are sharing "Out of the Box" ideas so you can use other MFT products
you may already own, and stretch your kit's usage!
The Scattered Surface Background stamp from the kit reminded me of
Aida embroidery cloth and a light bulb went on. A hoop project was born.
You could easily convert this to a circle shaped card, but I went with a hoop
since I still had them on hand from an earlier project.
I stamped the Scattered Surface Background on Primitive Cream card stock
with Natural dye ink. I took apart the inner hoop and glued it to the back side
of the stamped background and let it dry.
Using an X-acto knife, I carefully went around edge of the hoop, then
sanded the edges for a clean finish. I reassembled the hoop and it was
ready to decorate.
The flowers and leaves were all inked with dye inks, spritzed with water,
then stamped on watercolor card stock and die cut with the matching dies.
I adhered all the flowers and leaves with glue and dimensional adhesive, and
used spray adhesive for the sentiment. The hoop was finished off with
some enamel dots.
I'm predicting that this kit will be a sell out, and you'll want to grab yours
