Welcome to Day 4 of My Favorite Things April Release Countdown!
Birdie Brown has done it again with two stamp sets--Lucky Dog and Cool Cat--
featuring a menagerie of adorable pups and kitties. I wanted to combine both sets
on one card so I created a shelter with the help of Blueprints 27.
I stamped an assortment of cats and dogs and colored them with Copics, then cut them
with the coordinating dies. I inked a panel that was cut with Blueprints 25, spritzed on
some water, and added ink spatters.
I die cut the frame from Blueprints 27--which reminds me of a kennel--and adhered it
to the inked panel. All the images were adhered to the card with dimensional adhesive,
and the card was finished off with the sentiment.
Isn't that hanging kitty a hoot? I have big plans for her because there's a frontal
head shot that matches perfectly with the body.
