CAS(E) this Sketch 170

Ready for a fun sketch from Hannelie? Here's CAS(E) this Sketch 170.

I know, right? Here's my simplified take on it thanks to some patterned
paper and die cuts from my stash.

I trimmed a piece of striped patterned paper diagonally and adhered it
to a Black Licorice panel. You can't see it too well from the top photo,
but I added some stitch lines per the sketch, in the upper left quadrant.

The sentiment was white embossed and I added the poppy and leaves, then
adhered the panel to a white top folding card base. Done! And not too painful...

Visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see how my creative teammies interpreted the sketch
and join us if you can. Link up your card(s) by Thursday, May 5th, and as a winner
you could be guest designing with us on a future sketch!

  5. Wow, Donna this is so beautiful. I can definitely see the stitched lines and I love how they give this a subtle impression. And the bold stripes with that colorful flower are perfect complements to each other.
