The Card Concept 10--Coffee

I'm playing in The Card Concept's latest challenge with a COFFEE theme.

Here's my shaped card and I kept it clean and simple. Or maybe it's clean and layered.

I used the Sizzix Bigz Coffee Mug die and some Highline papers from Basic Grey.
I followed the tutorial here to construct the card. The sentiment is from
(the now closed--sniff!) Fresh Squeezed Stamps.

Here's a side view of the card. It's the perfect size to enclose a gift card.

I'm also linking this up to Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday Challenge--Die Crazy--
to use dies on your project. I love this coffee mug die but I'm not a hot coffee drinker.
Iced coffee is my poison and I poison myself almost every day.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  11. I'm laughing, Donna! As I sit here and catch up on commenting with my iced coffee! What a great card, and what a fun challenge. I've got some errands to run this morning, but am hoping to create something yet today. I've already pulled one of my coffee stamps out, and an idea is buzzing around in my head (or is it the extra cup of coffee...lol!) Have a great week. Bev

  15. This is soooooo cool! I just checked out the tutorial....who'da thunk to use a heart die for the handle of the cup? Someone's mighty clever! I love your selection of DP - fun, whimsical and absolutely perfect! But heck, in my book, anything and everything coffee is good! Thanks so much for choosing to share your sweet card with us at CCC and for also sharing the 'how to' link! Happy crafting :)
