CASual Fridays Challenge #73--For the Girls--coincides with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The challenge is to create a clean and simple card that celebrates
the women in your life.
My mother was a breast cancer survivor and her recovery was so inspiring to me.
My dad was very supportive and helped her with her stretching exercises so she could "Reach to Recovery". I can still picture him encouraging her to keep stretching and reaching for a marker that he would move a few inches higher every day.
Here's my card for the challenge. Papertrey Ink's butterfly fashioned with an awareness ribbon brad for the antennae, and an Ali Edwards sentiment.
I hope you'll feel inspired to join the challenge and share your card.
Thanks for stopping by today!
