Here's this week's MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #442.
I'll admit to being a bit stumped and almost skipped this sketch, but then I
thought of turning the curved edge into clouds, which was the perfect whimsical
setting for a little fairy.
A watercolor panel was inked with several colors of Distress Oxide inks,
spattered with water, then cut with the Stitched Cloud Edges. The panel was
trimmed and adhered to a white card base. The fairy was stamped, colored
with Copics and cut with the matching Die-namics
The fairy was popped up with dimensional adhesive and the sentiment
banner was adhered over her. The card was finished off with a silver
glitter strip and some stars.
Come and join the challenge and you could be the randomly selected
winner of a $50 MFT gift voucher! Visit the MFT blog for all the details and
deadlines and we hope to see you in the gallery!

This is SO SWEET!! LOVE!
ReplyDeleteSo super sweet and cute!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so adorable, Donna! I could hear her appearance sound, "Ta dah~". Love the combination of the soft ink-distressing with spattering and the silver glittery accents. Fantastic take on the sketch! (I would be stumped forever...)
