MFT May Birthday Project--Make a Wish

It's not a birthday celebration without candles--a single number candle for little ones
is always a winner while a towering inferno of colorful candles can't be beat for "big ones".
Light it up this month and show us your cards featuring CANDLES.

For my project, I cut candles from white card stock and colored them with Copic
markers. The candle flames were cut from shiny gold card stock. I adhered the
candles to a white card base in rainbow order, then adhered the flames at an angle
to appear as if they're being blown.

The sentiment was gold embossed and I finished off the card with the double
stacked frame.

Visit the MFT blog for all the details on how you can be the random winner of a
$50 MFT gift voucher when you join the challenge.

  1. Pretty rainbow colored candles with shiny gold flames, Donna. The card receiver is making a wish and blowing candles, right? The simple white-on-white frame finishes off the card perfectly. Love the ombre Copic coloring!
