Here's this week's CAS(E) this Sketch #240, compliments of Chrissy.
Here's my take on it, thanks to some very old (c.2013) patterned paper that I found
while doing a bit of summer cleaning.
while doing a bit of summer cleaning.
In hindsight, I should have gone simpler with a solid paper--but I went bold.
I trimmed the paper, getting as many colors as I could on one piece, and adhered
it to a white card base. I added two strips of pink card stock and finished off
the card with the white embossed sentiment and sequins.

BOLD is beautiful to me, Donna! Love your take on the sketch. I think the large flowers and colors make a beautiful card! The white flower pops against the other colors.

I too love this card. I have tons of paper to use. how did you figure out the size of the pattern piece so it fit correctly. I started with 5X5 and it didnt work. I get nervous cutting my DSP (LOL) Please help
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara! The paper came from a 6x6" paper pack so I took one sheet and placed it diagonally on the card base, then trimmed off the excess. I hope that makes sense!
DeleteIt does. Thanks so much. off to make a card ;)
