Concord & 9th Bouquet

I love dies. Being scissors challenged, I love that many companies now have
matching dies for their stamps. Most of all, I love stand alone dies.

Concord & 9th came out with a unique Bouquet die, and when I saw it featured
on Instagram, I knew I had to get it. Here's my card using it.

I die cut the image from watercolor card stock and left some of the pieces intact.
I used Peerless Watercolors and did some loose watercoloring on the whole piece.

After it was dried, I adhered the piece to a top folding black card, then
white embossed the sentiment. I added a strip of striped paper along the edge
and finished off the card with a few clear sequins.

There are so many possibilities with this die--I can't wait to play with it more.
Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Stunning card Donna. Love how those colors are so vibrant against the black background, and your stripes just relieve that darkness the right amount.

  6. I love this die too, although, looking at what you've done, clearly, I'm not using it to it's full advantage. This is stunning in it's splendid simplicity and fabulous coloring.
